Mahi AI is a product of Kauri Labs Limited, based in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. We are bound by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you use Mahi AI, we collect: your email address and name (via Clerk authentication); your business profile information (business name, industry, location, GST status); the emails, job descriptions, compliance questions, and meeting transcripts you paste into the tools; and the AI-generated outputs. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
Your data is used solely to provide the Mahi AI service. The content you paste into tools is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses, then stored in our database so you can access your history. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to train AI models.
All data is stored in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2, Sydney). This means your data does not leave Australia/New Zealand jurisdiction. We do not store data in the United States.
We use the following third-party services: Anthropic (AI generation — data sent to their API per their privacy policy); Supabase (database, hosted in ap-southeast-2); Clerk (authentication); Stripe (payment processing). Each has their own privacy policy.
Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of incorrect information, and request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, email hello@kaurilabs.kiwi.
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information and tool history are deleted within 30 days.
